10 Steps to Extraordinary

STEP 1: Questionnaire

You are interested in our services, awesome! Tell us about yourself and your project by filling out our questionnaire and sending it back to us.

STEP 2: Consultation

We have reviewed your questionnaire and now have scheduled your “Welcome” Consultation. This consultation is $300. At this consultation, we will spend time reviewing your questionnaire, your space, and learning about your style. We will then go more in depth about what you are looking for. Be prepared to spend a couple hours with us and answering questions about your budget, solidifying details such as paint palettes, hardware finishes, and providing us with any inspiration pictures or wish lists. Together we will prioritize your problem areas and project needs. We will measure and take any remaining notes and photos during this stage.

STEP 3: Design Boards

Should you choose to move forward with us, we will provide a package price for design boards. Design boards start at $1,000+ and are based on the scope of your project. Please give us a couple of weeks to pull together your new look and create formal design boards based on our consultation. We will send you a virtual copy, and at this time can schedule a sit down meeting to review the design elements. We will also provide a preliminary budget based on our recommendations & review the design agreement.

STEP 4: Agreement

You are ready to move forward with your design, and you want the DRI Team to implement and oversee your project. You have approved your project proposal, signed our design agreement and paid your deposit. Time to get working!

STEP 5: Contractors

We now bring contractors on board to begin getting concrete quotes. We start gathering pricing and lead times to schedule your work to begin.

STEP 6: Purchase & Manage

Once you approve quotes, the contractors will begin their trade work, and we will begin placing orders. We will never okay a purchase without your consent. During the Contractor phase, we will oversee that all of the details of your design are implemented as envisioned. Solutions are provided when changes are necessary, and all finished work meets our high standards.

STEP 7: Punch Out

This is a crucial point in the design where we now walk with you (the client), and the contractors with blue tape and point out anything that may need to be addressed or corrected. Sometimes it can be minor, and sometimes there may be several touch-ups. Point them all out in this stage! Once all punch out is complete, it will be time to add the finishing touches.

STEP 8: Decorating

Everything has been checked off and all deliveries have been received. Rather it’s one room, or a whole home, these final details really allow the magic of the transformation to come to life. During this time, we pour our hearts into leaving this space as extraordinary as envisioned. We ask you give us this time to complete this phase (no peeking allowed), so we can truly give you the reveal you deserve.

STEP 9: Photoshoot

We will take our “after” photos for our portfolio, and sometimes social-media. We then will do one final fluff.

STEP 10: The Reveal

Welcome home! All of the waiting is over, and it is our pleasure to walk you through your new space revealing all of the carefully crafted details. We hope you enjoy it for many years to come!
